A website should meet the requirements of the client, primarily to attract customers or to pass information. The design of the website is important to convince the visitor they have come to the correct place, or they have found what they are looking for.

It is the responsibly of the website designer, to generate an appropriate website design that is visually appealing and doesn't put off users from exploring the website further. The website should be easy to find, easy to use and easy on the eye.

I firstly sit down with clients at an information gathering meeting. From this I ascertain exactly what you wish to achieve with your website, ask for other websites you like, what colours you like and from this I desgn a mock webpage for start of disciussion. This mock page is then refined (as often as is required) and once the deisgn has been finalised and agreed, a site map is created. The design and site map is then signed off and a target date for completion agreed and then it's on with the site build.

As work progresses on the site, you can view work in progress as I upload all works to my server. This allows you to view work as it proceeds and if changes or any other comments are required, it is easy to keep on top of things timeously.
